Danette Swank Named CEO of Philippi-Hagenbuch, Intoning Third-Generation Family Leadership

PEORIA, Ill. — November 1, 2023 — Philippi-Hagenbuch, Inc., a global leader in off-highway truck customization and mining equipment solutions, today announced that Danette Swank has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2023. Swank represents the third generation of the Philippi and Hagenbuch families to lead the company since its founding.

Swank succeeds LeRoy Hagenbuch, P.E., the previous generation of family leadership, and will guide the company as it continues to expand its legacy of engineering innovation, customer partnership and durable equipment solutions for the mining, quarrying and heavy construction industries worldwide.

Founded in 1969 by L.B. Philippi and LeRoy Hagenbuch, Philippi-Hagenbuch has built a reputation for designing engineered-to-order equipment for off-highway haul trucks including their novel Autogate® Tailgate, HiVol® truck bodies, water tanks, and specialty equipment that help customers improve safety, productivity and performance in demanding environments.
